Retirement fellowship

Pharmacists and staff should consider joining NHS Retirement Fellowship

From Mr M. Brown

Pharmacists and their staff play a key role in the success of the NHS and could turn their key roles on retirement into helping make a success of the NHS Retirement Fellowship. We could use more of their energy, enthusiasm and caring and maybe they could think about joining their local branch.

The fellowship has 16,000 members and about 200 branches across the UK. It is an active, lively organisation with opportunities for learning as well as taking part in visits, and other educational and social activities. Our national conference debates issues of interest to older people and campaigns for change, and we support one another through fellowship and caring.

Readers who are interested should contact Sherry Smith, NHSRF, Central Office, Forston Clinic, Charminster, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 9TB, or e-mail Sherry.Smith@dorset-pct.nhs.uk
