Alliance Boots looks to China

Alliance Boots Plc has announced that it plans to enter the Chinese market in collaboration with Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals Corporation, China's third largest pharmaceutical wholesaler. On completion of the deal the wholesaler is expected to run 29 retail pharmacies, the maximum allowed for this type of collaboration under current regulations.
