Hospital Pharmacists Group seeks committee members to represent England
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Hospital Pharmacists Group is seeking candidates to fill two vacancies on the group committee.
Both vacancies this year are for committee members to represent England.
Candidates must be resident in England and may only be nominated, and
voted for, by group members also resident in England.
Nominations must be made by 17 March. The election, if needed, will be
carried out by postal ballot in April.
Elected members normally serve for three years. However, an impending
review of membership group constitutions means that the term of office
for those elected this year may be reduced.
The election arises from the retirement of David Corral and Tim Root,
both of whom are eligible to seek re-election. Committee members who
continue in office are Andrew Davies, David Miller, Richard Needle, Ray
Fitzpatrick and David Webb, representing England, Angela Munday, for
Scotland, and Jenny Joy, for Wales. Council members Colin Ranshaw and
Graham Phillips also serve on the committee, which is chaired by Professor
Fitzpatrick.
