Pharmaceutical Care Awards
Who can enter? Pharmacists from all disciplines can enter singly or in small groups. Team efforts involving other health professionals are also eligible, but pharmacists should play a leading role. Entries can relate to the pharmacist’s core activity of drug therapy or to peripheral activities such as health promotion. Overseas entries are also welcome. What should your entry include? Entries should
describe why, where and how the initiatives were undertaken. Papers will
be marked for their
originality, quality of outcome, improvement to patient care and general
merit. How will entries be judged? All entries will be read by the editor of The Pharmaceutical Journal and then sent to an appropriate judge on a panel of representatives drawn from professional bodies and the awards’ sponsors. A shortlist will then be drawn up and papers re-marked by specialist judges. Award presentation The award presentations
will take place at a special event in London on 29 June and finalists
will be invited to attend as guests of The Pharmaceutical Journal and
our sponsors. How to enter Download an entry form (PDF 100K). The closing date for entries is 30 March 2007 Further information Further information is available from Emma Kerby-Evans |
