Care records by end of 2008

Summary care records for everybody in England should be completed by the end of next year, NHS Connecting for Health has announced.

Uploading of patient data by early-adopter GP surgeries is to begin by Easter this year. After uploading, patients will be able to ask for non-demographic data to be removed.
