AAH helps pharmacists get ready for Welsh smoking ban

AAH Pharmaceuticals has produced a range of materials to help pharmacists in Wales prepare for the next round of smoke-free legislation that comes into force on 2 April 2007.

The pack includes training materials and information about barriers that prevent people stopping smoking, withdrawal symptoms and advice on smoking cessation products. Also included are patient information leaflets, a window poster and a planogram to help pharmacists with stock layout. The pack also includes details of what the smoke-free legislation means.

A similar pack has been produced for AAH customers in Northern Ireland, where a smoking ban in enclosed public spaces is due to take effect on 30 April.
