Advice for the NHS in England on how services for malignant pleural mesothelioma patients should be organised is set out in a framework published this week by the Department of Health.

The framework addresses clinical management and service configuration, along with raising awareness and underpinning programmes such as information, research and audit. The framework is not mandatory.
