Society now has an ideal structure, says President

With its national pharmacy boards in place, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is now ideally structured, says its President, Hemant Patel.

Following the first meetings of the boards and the election of their chairmen (see below, p260 and PJ, 24 February, p229), Mr Patel said: “The Society is now ideally structured to meet the specific needs of pharmacists in England, Scotland and Wales and to ensure pharmacy practice in these three constituencies is most appropriate to the needs of the people living there. This is another example of the Society modernising so it is genuinely fit for the future.”
