Flu vaccine update

Community pharmacists in Scotland can order influenza vaccines from the same supplier and still receive the risk minimisation payment, provided the vaccines are separate brands made at different sites, says an NHS circular published this week.

Pharmacists who order vaccines in this way must indicate this on the risk minimisation forms that they return to NHS boards.
