Statins reduce BP

Statin therapy has a small but clinically meaningful effect on blood pressure, say researchers.

The reduction in blood pressure was greatest among patients with higher baseline blood pressure and was unrelated to age, changes in serum cholesterol or length of trial (published online in Hypertension).
