Library seeks book ideas
Users of the Royal
Pharmaceutical Society's library are being offered the opportunity to suggest books that the library might take into stock.
Readers can make their recommendations through a “Suggest a book” link
from the menu page of the Society’s online
catalogue.
Suggestions are retrieved daily by the staff member responsible for acquisitions
and, if a resource is considered suitable for purchase, its details will
become permanently accessible on the catalogue.
The library says that the new facility is the latest tool to support
its continuous efforts to seek feedback from users. Although it is intended
primarily for book suggestions, the library will also take note of suggestions
for other types of resource, including websites, that readers consider
to be of value to fellow pharmacists.
