BPC £5 student day-rate extended to all pharmacy students

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is again offering a special student day rate of £5 (+VAT) for the British Pharmaceutical Conference, but this year the offer is open to all undergraduate pharmacy students and preregistration trainees. Last year the offer was not open to first- and second-year students.

This year’s conference takes place from Monday 10 to Wednesday 12 September 2007 at Manchester Central (formerly Manchester International Convention Centre and GMEX), with the special student day on the Wednesday. This agenda for this day of BPC focuses on science and practice sessions for students, with symposia featuring key speakers from across all sectors of the profession.

Student places are available on a first come, first served basis. Students can register through the BPC website or by contacting Angela Lyons, at conference organiser Health Links (tel 0121 248 3399).

Other conference bookings can also be made through the website, which gives up-to-date programme details.

BPC 2007 attracts three main sponsors Boots The Chemists, the Pharmacists’ Defence Association and AstraZeneca have signed up to be main sponsors for the British Pharmaceutical Conference and Exhibition 2007, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society has announced.
