Letters to the Editor

The Society

How long is a long time?

From Mr W. M. Darling, FRPharmS

I quote from my 1962 Council election statement of policy: “Unity is essential to improve any aspect of our profession, be it code of ethics, education or economics. I am convinced that our ultimate aim must be one voice for pharmacy. This will take time and can only be accomplished gradually. I welcome as a first step the proposal to form a co-ordinating committee with other pharmaceutical organisations enabling our Society to play an increasing part in the affairs of us all.”

Plus ça change?
