National Pharmacy Association proposes pitch to PBC week

An annual, national “Pitch to your practice-based commissioners week” has been proposed by the National Pharmacy Association. The NPA believes that a themed week could focus the minds of commissioners and contractors and give impetus at a critical time in the NHS planning cycle.

A week in September is likely to be selected. Stephen Fishwick, NPA head of NHS service development, said: “The NHS service development department will be launching a suite of PBC service proposal templates in the summer that should remove some of the pain of preparing a pitch.”
