Support for Society giving up its regulatory role

The branch representatives’ meeting offered its full support to a proposal that the Society should give up its regulatory role.

Andrew White (Bolton) moved: “That this meeting fully supports the proposal that the Society should relinquish its regulatory role.” He said that, without hindrance of the regulation side, the Society could be fully joined up and serve the profession better.
