Cervical cancer vaccines

The Department of Health says it intends, in principle, to introduce a human papillomavirus vaccine into the national immunisation programme, subject to an independent cost-benefit analysis.

Funding for the vaccine will be considered in the context of the Comprehensive Spending Review.
