The Pharmaceutical Journal scoops journalism award

The Pharmaceutical Journal has been named “Medical publication of the year” by members of the Medical Journalists’ Association.

Stephen Cull, Dawn Connelly, Lin-Nam Wang and Mark Porter

The Journal was shortlisted along with Doctor, the Health Service Journal and Pulse earlier this year. Members of the MJA, which includes over 400 of the UK’s leading medical and health journalists, then voted for the publication that they wanted to win.

The awards have been running in this format for the past four years and previous winners include The Lancet, GP newspaper and BBC Online. The award was presented at a ceremony held in London last week.
