Stroke consultation launched

A consultation on the future of stroke services was launched this week by the Department of Health. The results of the consultation, which will look at how the NHS can bring the standard of stroke care into line with that of heart disease and cancer, will inform a national stroke strategy to be rolled out later this year.

The consultation closes on 12 October 2007.
