Mental Health Bill passed

Community treatment orders are to be introduced in England and Wales after the Mental Health Bill was passed for Royal Assent last week. It will allow patients who have been detained in hospital to be placed on community treatment orders and ensure that patients can only be detained if appropriate treatment is available.
