MUR numbers rise

The number of medicines use reviews undertaken by pharmacists in England has risen from fewer than 147,000 in 2005–06 to over 557,000 in 2006–07, figures released last week by the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee show.

The figure for March 2007 is 78,000, up from 41,000 in March 2006.
