Saline nasal spray can relieve rhinosinusitis symptoms

Spraying saline into the nostrils can relieve the symptoms associated with chronic rhinosinusitis but is not as effective as an intranasal steroid, a Cochrane systematic review of eight randomised trials has concluded.
