New book on homoeopathic prescribing, written by homoeopathic pharmacists, published by the Pharmaceutical Press

Homeopathic prescribingA new pocket companion, ‘Homeopathic prescribing’, is now available from the Pharmaceutical Press.

Written by homoeopathic pharmacists Steven Kayne and Lee Kayne, the book provides a general introduction to homoeopathy. It contains an outline of remedy types, potencies and how they work, information regarding what homoeopathy can and cannot be used for, different approaches to prescribing, and case study examples.

The Pharmaceutical Press says the book is intended as a “hands on” guide to homoeopathy. The layout of the book means that pharmacists will be able either to look up a particular remedy and its uses or a specific condition or symptom and its remedy.

The 208-page, PVC-covered book costs £21.95. UK orders for the book can be placed by telephone (01767 604971), fax (01767 601640), e-mail (rps@turpin-distribution.com) or through the Pharmaceutical Press website.

The Pharmaceutical Press is the books division of RPS Publishing, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s publishing organisation.
