BPC TV on air during 2007 conference in Manchester
BPC TV is to return to the screens for the British
Pharmaceutical Conference later this year. BPC TV is a partnership between the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Nice TV and ITN Consulting.
The programme will provide a mix of conference news, interviews and round
table discussions on pharmacy current affairs. The programme will also
profile businesses working across the various pharmacy sectors.
BPC TV will be screened on each day of the conference and an extended
version will be sent, free of charge, to members with The Pharmaceutical
Journal’s conference supplement. BPC TV will also be made available
online
Martyn Lewis, chairman of Nice TV, and former BBC newsreader, commented: “We
are delighted to be bringing BPC TV to a pharmacy audience again. The
conference is a topical, cutting-edge event that has real news value.”
BPC 2007 chairman, John Gentle, said: “BPC TV is one of a number
of exciting initiatives that the conference committee has introduced
to ensure that the profession’s flagship conference reaches the
widest possible pharmacy audience.”
BPC takes place from 10–12 September at Manchester Central. The
conference programme is available on the BPC
2007 website or
by contacting Angela Lyons at conference organiser Health Links (tel
