CPW chief executive retires

Peter Hayden Jones is to stand down as chief executive of Community Pharmacy Wales on 1 September 2007.

Commenting on his decision to retire, he said: “It has been an honour and a privilege to serve as the chief executive of CPW since its inception in April 2003 and to have been involved in a time of rapid change in the delivery of community pharmacy services in Wales. CPW is now firmly established as the voice of community pharmacy in Wales and I leave the organisation confident that it is fit for purpose to drive the community pharmacy agenda forward in Wales and deliver the CPW vision for the future.”
