MHRA launches e-bulletin

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has replaced its Current Problems in Pharmacovigilance publication with a monthly Drug Safety Update bulletin. The electronic bulletin will be available from the MHRA website and health professionals can register their e-mail address to be alerted when each update is available (registration@mhradrugsafety.org.uk).

Drug Safety Update incorporates the latest information and clinical advice from the MHRA and the Commission on Human Medicines. The MHRA says that it has designed the publication so that health care professionals can quickly find the information relevant to their practice.

“Keywords on main articles enable them to locate items of particular relevance to their area of interest … [and] we have indicated where they can access additional information,” the MHRA states.
