Reshuffle at the top for Co-op Pharmacy

The Co-operative Pharmacy has this week announced changes to its senior management following the recent merger of The Co-operative Group with United Co-operatives, which came into effect on 29 July 2007.

John Nuttall, formerly of United Co-operatives Healthcare, is appointed managing director of health care for The Co-operative Group, taking over from Neil Braithwaite, who is now managing director of the group’s specialist retail businesses.

Mike Wanliss retains his role as head of retail operations for The Co-operative Pharmacy, and Gordon Farquhar becomes head of retail commercial. Lindsey Fairbrother, previously head of wholesale at United Co-operatives Healthcare, becomes head of wholesale commercial for The Co-operative Pharmacy.

Liz Colling takes on the position of superintendent pharmacist and head of professional development, formerly head of pharmacy, for the pharmacy business. Tony Burnett brings his experience at United Co-operatives to the role of head of information systems for The Co-operative Pharmacy.
