Leadership inquiry chairman

Nigel Clarke has been appointed independent chairman of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's inquiry on a future professional leadership body (PJ, 16 June, p693). Mr Clarke is currently chairman of the General Osteopathic Council.

The inquiry will start from late August 2007 and will include two stages of consultation, review of relevant documents, roadshows and formal evidence sessions. Mr Clarke will report to the Council with a proposed way forward before the annual general meeting in May 2008.
