BNF and BNF-C on mobiles

The latest editions of the electronic British National Formulary and its sister publication the British National Formulary for Children are available for use with a range of mobile devices and are now on both Skyscape and Medhand mobile platforms.

Commenting on the development, BNF publishing director Dominic Vaughan said: “For a few years now, we have been actively engaging in trying to make the BNF integrated with core NHS systems. The ability for any health care professional to be able to access this core information on a mobile device will make treating at a patient’s bedside a lot easier, and help to ensure clinical safety on the spot.”
