Free contraceptives

Katya (ethinylestradiol 30µg/gestodene 75µg) tablets and Sunya (ethinylestradiol 20µg/gestodene 75µg) tablets have been added to the list of contraceptive drugs to be dispensed free of charge in the September 2007 issue of the Drug Tariff.

Prescriptions for these items dispensed from 1 July 2007 should also be treated as being free of charge.
