Asda pharmacy goes online

Asda has teamed up with Pharmacy2U to become the first supermarket to offer pharmacy products online.

The website (www.asda-pharmacy.co.uk) features over 1,000 over-the-counter products and all orders are validated by a pharmacist before dispatch.

Asda plans to offer an online prescription service in 2008.
