Moorfields Pharmaceuticals: colour-coded packaging system for its ophthalmic specials rangeMoorfields Pharmaceuticals has launched a colour-coded packaging system for its ophthalmic specials range. The new system is designed to make it easier for patients with impaired vision to follow their prescribed treatment.

The company is also producing a guide for pharmacists explaining the revised packaging scheme.

The colours used are:

  • orange (antibiotics and antifungals)
  • green (steroids)
  • blue (myotics)
  • red (mydriatics and sympathomimetics)
  • silver grey (lubricants and others)
