Vividrin
Vividrin Nasal Spray is currently unavailable, although unlicensed Vividrin can be imported to support continuity of care where required.

The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee advises that prescriptions for “Vividrin Nasal Spray” will be reimbursed based on the manufacturer’s list price for the UK brand.

If a pharmacist wishes to dispense an unlicensed imported product to support patient care, and the prescriber agrees to this, the prescription should be returned to the prescriber to be amended to read “Vividrin Nasal Spray — imported from abroad”.

If no discount is received prescriptions should be endorsed “DNG” (discount not given) to claim exemption from discount deduction.
