Museum launches two new information sheets
Two new information sheets, entitled “Enemas” and “Lambeth’s links with pharmacy”, have been launched by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s museum.
The first sheet explores the history of enemas and explains the long
history of these devices, dating back to the time of the Ancient Egyptians.
The second sheet highlights some of the links between the history of
pharmacy, the museum’s collections and the areas of London surrounding
the Society’s headquarters building in Lambeth.
The illustrated sheets are 21st and 22nd in the series “Objects
in the history of pharmacy”. and are available
on the Society’s
website. They can also be requested by contacting the
museum (tel 020 7572 2210, e-mail museum@rpsgb.org)
