Drugs Licensing Unit
The Home Office Drugs Licensing Unit (formerly Drugs Inspectorate) at Jefferson House, Leeds, will close on 31 October 2007 after which no correspondence should be sent to that office. Future correspondence should be addressed to: Home Office Drugs Licensing, 6th floor, Peel Building, 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DF (tel 020 7035 0467).

Prescribing Services Unit
From 1 November 2007 the registration department of the Health Solutions Wales Prescribing Services Unit will be located at: Health Solution Wales, 12th floor, Brunel House, 2 Fitzalan Road, Cardiff CF24 0HA (tel 029 2050 0500).

Submissions for October prescriptions will need to be sent to this address.

Medicines management
The University of Leeds school of healthcare’s postgraduate programme on medicines management in primary care, which starts in January 2008, is free of charge to all NHS employees in the Yorkshire and the Humber Strategic Health Authority area (fees are paid by the SHA).
