Stem cell research

A multidisciplinary centre for research into stem cell technologies was opened last month as part of the University of Nottingham’s Centre for Biomolecular Sciences.

The Wolfson Centre for Stem Cells, Tissue Engineering and Modelling (STEM) will incorporate tissue engineers from the school of pharmacy, biologists from the school of human development and mathematical modellers from the school of mathematical sciences at the university.
