Professionals’ website on self care goes live

Health professionals with an interest in self care will have access to a new networking tool with the launch this week of Self Care Connect

Developed by the NHS Working in Partnership Programme (WiPP), Self Care Connect is the world’s first interactive, online resource on self care which, according to WiPP, provides access to information and resources — such as key developments, policy drivers and up-to-date news — to support everyone with a professional interest in self care.

It also provides an area where professional views and experiences can be exchanged.

Helena Jordan, who leads on WiPP’s work on self care in primary care, said that the website would be updated continuously by both the Self Care Connect team and by the users themselves, and that it would bring together research and resources from across the world for colleagues to share and discuss.
