Welsh Pharmacy Board events mean direct communication with members in Wales
The Welsh
Pharmacy Board is holding three special meetings in November 2007, designed to brief members on current developments affecting pharmacy in Wales and to give them an opportunity to contribute to discussions.
Peter Jones, chairman of the Welsh Pharmacy Board, commented that with
the Society and the profession facing some of the biggest challenges
and opportunities in its history, it is essential that members are fully
aware of important initiatives and have the opportunity for their views
to be heard.
“We are committed to having more effective, direct communication
with the members in Wales,” Mr Jones said.
Topics to be discussed include the Pharmacy 2020 consultation, professional
development in Wales, changes to pharmacy regulation and professional
leadership and the work of the board.
Details of the event dates and locations are as follows:
• 6 November The Ivy Bush Royal Hotel, Spilman Street, Carmarthen, Dyfed
• 8 November Faenol Fawr Hotel, Bodel-wyddan, St Asaph, Denbighshire
• 13 November 2 Ash Tree Court, Cardiff Gate Business Park, Cardiff
A light buffet will be available from 6.30pm and the meetings will start
at 7.30pm. They are expected to end by 9pm.
