NPA launches pseudoephedrine/ephedrine training package

Resources for pharmacists to provide awareness training for pharmacy staff on pseudoephedrine and ephedrine sales have been developed by the National Pharmacy Association (PJ, 30 June 2007, p762).

The range of training solutions — which can be downloaded free of charge from the members area of the NPA website — include an information booklet and digital audio and visual lectures, as well as training record and assessment forms.

Pharmacists and senior staff wanting to provide the training themselves can download a Powerpoint presentation, complete with speaker notes.
