Technician to lead WCPPE

Lesley Morgan has been appointed director of the Welsh Centre for Postgraduate Pharmaceutical Education.

Mrs Morgan was assistant director at the WCPPE for three years before taking over last week from David Temple, who retired from the post on 31 October 2007.

She told The Journal that she is looking forward to building on the centre’s current provision to help pharmacists and their staff meet the challenges that pharmacy faces.

“The team at WCPPE is diverse and we are able to draw on a wide range of skills and experiences that enable the programmes to meet the varied needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians,” she said.

Mrs Morgan is a technician member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Council.
