Premises fee fixed for 2008

Registration fees for pharmacies in Great Britain are to rise by 3.6 per cent to £510 on 1 January 2008. The premises retention fee will rise by 3.8 per cent to £162 (PDF 50K).

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society had asked the Government to increase the fees to £517 and £164, respectively.

The Society has argued that members are currently subsidising premises fees by £78.
