Discontinued products

Cicatrin
Cicatrin (neomycin sulphate, bacitracin zinc) cream 15g and 30g, and powder 15g and 50g, have been discontinued by GlaxoSmithKline. Stocks are expected to be exhausted by March 2008.

Supply issues

Colofac
Supplies of Colofac (mebeverine) tablets 135mg are erratic at present and will remain so until current supply issues are resolved. Colofac MR capsules 200mg remain available.

Distalgesic
Distalgesic (co-proxamol) will cease to be available from Meda Pharmaceuticals as a licensed product at the end of December. The product will be available under named patient provisions from Clinigen in 2008 (tel 01283 494340; www.clinigen.co.uk).

Medikinet
Medikinet (methylphenidate) tablets 5mg, 10mg and 20mg remain fully available from Flynn Pharma despite reports of the product being unavailable.
