Retirement

Anyone fancy a society for retired pharmacists?

From Mrs S. R. Weston, FRPharmS

Having decided to retire from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society at the end of this year, I am wondering if anyone has considered forming a society for retired pharmacists, or something similar?

There must be a few of us around who would welcome, say, a monthly extract from the PJ, and other sources on matters of pharmaceutical interest, so that we do not lose touch with pharmacy altogether. This could be circulated by e-mail, to keep expenses down.

In particular I would like to keep up with the letters’ page, the editorials and, hopefully, Onlooker. Perhaps he can be persuaded to write an occasional item when he retires from the PJ. I will miss him.
