Meet Ava Thorp, daughter of pharmacy technician Jennifer Thorp from Conwy. We believe that at 17 months of age, when the photograph was taken, Miss Thorp is The Pharmaceutical Journal’s youngest reader.

Send in your suggestion of a caption for this photograph and the funniest, as selected by our panel of judges, will win a set of British Society for the History of Pharmacy bone china mugs.

Entries should be on a postcard, marked “caption competition” or by e-mail (competitions@pharmj.org.uk).

They should include your name, address and daytime telephone number.
