Colorectal cancer chemotherapy

Chemotherapy with fluorouracil and folinic acid could improve survival of patients with stage II colorectal cancer compared with observation alone but the absolute benefits are small, according to a randomised study of 3,239 patients published in The Lancet (2007;370:2020).
