Numark appoints interim head

John D’Arcy, who recently moved to Phoenix from the National Pharmacy Association, has been appointed interim managing director of Numark following the death of Simon Colebeck.

Mr D’Arcy moved to Phoenix in May 2007 to become its retail commercial director after being chief executive at the NPA for 10 years. He continues to be Phoenix’s retail commercial director.

Mr D’Arcy said: “These are challenging times for pharmacy, but Numark is a fantastic organisation providing much needed support for pharmacy owners.”
