NPA stays silent over rumours about its CE

The National Pharmacy Association may be about to lose its second chief executive in less than a year.

Asked whether Alison White was still chief executive this week, NPA head of communications Neal Patel said: “No comment.” He also declined to say when any information about her future would be made available.

NPA board member Gerald Alexander said: “I know she’s still chief executive. … The NPA chairman says she’s still chief executive.” However, Mr Alexander admitted that there were rumours concerning Ms White’s position.

Ms White was not contactable at the NPA this week and all questions concerning her whereabouts were deflected to the press office.
