I have just received the latest edition of Community Pharmacy News from the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee. Chief executive Sue Sharpe has written about medicines distribution and the piece includes the following statement: “We will be working to agree with the Department of Health changes that remove or at least reduce dispensing at a loss.”

What a wonderful starting point for negotiations. With friends like this who needs enemies?
