Faculty of cancer pharmacy

A new body — the Faculty of Cancer Pharmacy — has been launched by the British Oncology Pharmacy Association and the College of Pharmacy Practice.

Speaking at the launch, BOPA chairman Geoff Saunders said that the aim of the faculty is to improve patient care by providing an opportunity for pharmacists and technicians who work in cancer care to undertake accredited training and assessment leading to formal recognition of their knowledge and skills.
