MedicinesComplete for Scotland’s contractors

Access to MedicinesComplete — the online reference resource that includes Martindale, the BNF and ‘Stockley’s Drug Interactions’, among other titles — is being made available to community pharmacists in Scotland following an agreement between RPS Publishing and Community Pharmacy Scotland. Access will be via the Scotland’s Health on the Web (SHOW) portal.

Alex MacKinnon, CPS head of corporate affairs, commented: “As part of the financial arrangements agreed in our negotiations with the Scottish Government, Community Pharmacy Scotland is pleased to be able to offer MedicinesComplete to community pharmacy contractors in Scotland. Access to this range of databases will ensure that [pharmacists] are equipped to deliver the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.”
