WHO seeks views on safety

Views on the implementation of patient safety solutions are being sought by the World Health Organization, in a consultation that closes on 29 February 2008. The solutions cover five areas: prevention of falls, patient deterioration, communicating critical test results, central venous catheter infections and preventing pressure sores

The WHO is particularly interested in the relevance of the solutions and potential barriers to their introduction. When completed, the WHO plans to distribute the solutions to all its members for local adaptation and implementation.
